Every year, before the eagerly awaited summer holidays take us away from our daily commitments, our company celebrates the past year’s successes with a summer party that has become a cherished tradition. This year, our annual gathering was once again held in the SPII courtyard, the perfect setting for a day of reflection and celebration.
Our CEO, Silvio Zuffetti, kicked things off with an inspiring speech about the performance of the first half of the year and expectations for the second half. Following this, CSO Sergio Maria Vaccarini provided an overview of the strategies that have allowed us to navigate through this year’s challenges, highlighting the importance of innovation and collaboration. The concluding speech was delivered by our President, Engineer Roberto Foiadelli, who reiterated and emphasized the previous speeches, thanking the entire team for their continuous commitment.
This year, to everyone’s surprise, all individuals who reached significant milestones in their tenure with the company were celebrated, thanks to an initiative by our People Manager, Chiara Cavicchia. Those who have served for 10, 20, 30, and even 40 years were called to the center stage and honored with a gift as a token of appreciation for their dedication and loyalty. This symbolic gesture strengthened the sense of community and belonging, reminding us that the true value of the company lies in its people.
The day concluded with a delightful summer refreshment, a perfect opportunity to socialize and share moment of conviviality. Amid smiles and celebrations, participants were able to relax and enjoy the company of colleagues in an informal and pleasant atmosphere.
This moment is not just about looking back to recognize successes and challenges, but also an opportunity to strengthen bonds and look to the future with renewed enthusiasm. It’s a “tradition” that reminds us of the importance of gratitude and celebration, essential elements for keeping passion and motivation alive in our professional journey.
