It’s time to our annual date with the students of the Automation of Electric Transport Systems course of Politecnico of Milan.

The lesson was held by our colleague Alberto Colombo, who again this year had the honor of taking on the role of a teacher.

We talked about many issues related to communication networks, systems design and controls in railway application.

During the lesson various examples were proposed and many questions from students, which demonstrate the interest of the students and the undisputed validity of these initiatives.

The goal is to proactively engage students to create a union between theory and the world of real applications.

We thank once again our colleague Alberto Colombo for his availability, Professor Michela Longo, as organizer of the event and the assistant Cristian Giovanni Colombo.

SPII has always actively collaborated with the Politecnico di Milano through degree theses, research doctorates, internships and events.

About events, we remind you of the PMI Day event on November 19th.

See you next time,

We want to thank all the guys who have chosen to participate with us at this online edition of the PMI DAY of the Polytechnic of Milan.

Despite this year the modalities were different from previous editions, there was no lack of enthusiasm, curiosity and the desire to get to know each other.

Students were able to introduce themselves and apply to become part of our Graduate Program and to be the young talents of the SPII team.

Thanks for the commitment and collaboration of our colleagues Giulia Ceolin, Davide Rossi, Lorenzo Olivetto, Francesco Colombo, Giovanni Salati and Katiuscia Geminian of the Polytechnic of Milan.

See you next time,
Simona Gianoli

We are back…more locked and loaded than ever!

Once again we were pleased to give a lecture to the students of the Automation of Electric Systems Transportation class, at Politecnico in Milan

Main topic of the lesson: communication networks in railway applications.

We thank our colleague Alberto Colombo, “teacher for a day”, and Professor Michela Longo. The two of them have been for years main actors of these initiatives which proactively involve students with the aim of creating a strong synergy between theoretical contents and real experience.

SPII has always actively collaborated with the Politecnico through degree theses, PhDs, internships and events such as the PMI Day, which will take place on November 17th.

See you next time,
